Product Introduction

The FPSO natural gas desulfurization skid unit in the CNOOC Liuhua project in which our company participated is a key equipment of the cylindrical floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO), which is the first in Asia and the seventh in the world. The successful delivery of this unit marks a major breakthrough in my country's key technologies for independent design and construction of deepwater oil and gas equipment.

The natural gas desulfurization skid unit is one of the core supporting equipment for the secondary development project of Liuhua 11-1/4-1 oilfield. The unit is 13.2 meters long, 9.2 meters wide, 14 meters high, and weighs 281 tons. Its desulfurization process uses an advanced technology package, and the oxidation tower, absorption tower and other equipment have been subjected to swing tests in a simulated marine environment in Qingdao and have passed strict verification. This device has not only reached the international advanced level in technology, but also demonstrated excellent performance in practical applications.

The FPSO of the Liuhua project, "Anemone No. 1", is the first cylindrical FPSO in Asia designed and built by my country. It has a working water depth of about 324 meters, a maximum displacement of 100,000 tons, a maximum oil storage capacity of 60,000 tons, a design life of 30 years, and can operate continuously at sea for 15 years without returning to dock. Compared with conventional ship-type FPSOs, cylindrical FPSOs have the advantages of less steel consumption, good stability, and strong ability to withstand harsh sea conditions, which can effectively reduce the development and operation costs of oil fields.

In addition, "Anemone No. 1" has also achieved the independent application of a number of key technical equipment, including an integrated sea and land intelligent central control system, a natural gas dual-tower process desulfurization system, and a large-capacity hydraulic submersible pump. The new natural gas desulfurization device and dual-fuel generator used for the first time on domestic offshore platforms can make full use of oil field associated gas and effectively improve the green energy-saving level of offshore oil fields.

Our company undertook the design and manufacturing tasks of the natural gas desulfurization skid device in this project. During the project promotion process, we strictly followed the owner's requirements for equipment manufacturing and acceptance according to American standards, widely deployed resources, and carefully deployed preliminary preparations.
